The Challenge
RACKHOUSE sits between Warren and Simpson County, KY, far removed from the population centers of both counties. They knew they could rely on nearby factories as well as traffic between the two counties to pad lunch sales, but the challenge would be getting people to go out of their way for dinner.
The Solution
Deep dive into people's roots to create content and a brand that both blends into the culture and stands out in a big way. Then present everything with a soft welcoming tone, like your mom calling you home to eat.
The Strategy
We knew that a "less is more" approach would be essential. Our social media approach was deliberate and methodical. We kept signage simple, sharing only a website. The site had little information, but had an SMS signup form. This approach successfully generated buzz and sparked community word-of-mouth, leaving everyone asking, "What the hell is RACKHOUSE?"
